Omar

Head Electrician | The Sottile Theatre | Spoleto Festival USA

Omar was my first show for the Spoleto Festival USA and it was a magical experience. Since I have a classical music background, I was able to connect with the music and I looked forward to performances every day. With the help of Andy Cissna, I created power and control layouts then I led the load-in and load-out process with a crew of up to 6 electricians in a 785 seat proscenium theatre. The plot included 285 fixtures with 3,487 outputs and included the new ETC Source4 LED Series III. I used an ethernet backbone with hard line DMX and sACN control.
