Production Electrician | The Freedman Theatre | UNCSA
As You Like It was my most challenging show to Production Electrician. Due to unforeseen circumstances there were setbacks in the prep and load-in period. My team and I put our best feet forward and we were able to overcome the challenges and get our lighting system up and running before focus. I created the power and control layouts as well as load-in, tech, performance, and load out process in a 368 seat thrust theatre. The plot included over 450 fixtures with 3,253 outputs and 65 set electrics. I used an ethernet backbone with hard line DMX and sACN control along with a wireless DMX system usingRC4 for 6 wireless set electrics. My team and I managed a crew of up to 14 electricians throughout the process. Thank you Canto USA for the donation of 4 Follow Spots for the production.
